How VancouverCanyon collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Last updated: May 22, 2026. Effective date: May 22, 2026.
VancouverCanyon (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the free social entertainment platform at yarnbridge.com. We are based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. As a Canadian operator, we follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
VancouverCanyon does not offer real-money gambling. The platform provides only virtual credits with no monetary value. This policy covers information gathered through normal use of our website and game interface.
Questions about this policy can be directed to our Privacy Officer at [email protected].
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the platform. Categories of data include: (a) session data created automatically when your browser connects to our server (IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, session duration); (b) cookie data used to maintain your session preferences and age-gate confirmation; (c) any information you voluntarily submit to us by email.
We do not collect your name, date of birth, payment details, or government identification. Because VancouverCanyon requires no account creation, we do not maintain persistent user profiles. Session data is not linked across separate visits unless a cookie persists.
We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information such as health data, financial records, or location data beyond the approximate geographic area implied by your IP address.
Session and cookie data is used exclusively to: operate the platform and deliver game content; remember your age confirmation and cookie preference within the current session; analyse aggregate traffic patterns to improve performance; identify and prevent abusive access patterns that could harm other users.
We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not sell, rent, or broker your information to third parties. We do not build individual behavioural profiles for marketing purposes. Any analytics we conduct are performed on anonymised, aggregated data sets — individual records are not reviewed for marketing or product decisions.
VancouverCanyon uses two types of cookies: (a) session cookies that expire when you close your browser, used to maintain the age-gate confirmation; (b) local storage entries that persist until you clear your browser data, used to remember your cookie-banner acknowledgement. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or social-media tracking widgets on any page of this platform.
You may disable cookies entirely through your browser settings. Doing so may prevent the age gate from staying dismissed between page loads, requiring re-confirmation. The game itself will continue to function without persistent cookies.
We share information only in the following limited circumstances: with hosting and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations; with legal authorities when required by a valid court order or statutory obligation under Canadian law; in the event of a business transfer, merger, or acquisition, in which case this policy and its commitments transfer with the platform.
All third-party service providers are contractually prohibited from using data we share for their own commercial purposes. We do not share data with analytics companies, advertising networks, or social-media platforms.
Server access logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days and then automatically deleted. Session cookies expire at browser close. Local-storage preferences persist until manually cleared by the user. Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to resolve the matter and then deleted, with a maximum retention period of three years.
As a Canadian resident, you have the right to: request access to personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your information (where we are not legally required to retain it); withdraw consent to processing at any time; lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) at 1-800-282-1376 or priv.gc.ca.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
We employ industry-standard technical safeguards including HTTPS-only delivery, secure session management, and regular security reviews. We do not store payment card data or authentication credentials, as no account creation is required. Access to server logs is restricted to authorised technical personnel only.
VancouverCanyon is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18. If we learn that information from a minor has been submitted to us, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has accessed this platform, please contact us immediately at [email protected].
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of VancouverCanyon after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will post a visible notice on the platform homepage for a minimum of 30 days.
VancouverCanyon is a free social entertainment platform. By entering you confirm you are 18 or older and understand no real money is involved.
